Introduction

A large sabellid polychaete with a variously-coloured plume. The radiole tips are bare (lacking pinnules). The tube is parchment-like and large, up to 30 cm long. When the worm retracts the tube opening remains round. This worm is parasitized by the tiny snail Evalea tenuisculpta.
